Yuriy Nozdrin

Yuriy Nozdrin was born in Klaipeda (Lithuania) in 1949. He received a primary artistic education at the Astrakhan Children’s Art School. Graduated from the Moscow Pamyati Revolutsiyi 1905 Art School in 1972, then from the Moscow Polygraphical College in 1980. Yuriy designed and illustrated about 200 books, working with publishing houses “Sovremennik”, “Progress”, “Nauka”, “Nedra”, “Detskaja literature”, “Transport”, “Khudozestvennaja literature”, “Rare book from St.Petersburg”. Also he created more than 100 manuscripts in limited print, written and binded by himself. Often he write texts for his unik books by himself too. Yuriy created more than 500 etchings.
Yuriy Nozdrin is winner of prizes at 15 international competitions, including 4 Grand Prizes. His works are displayed at the Hermitage, Russian State Library, Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts and other museums of Russia, Europe and USA. He is participant of more than 150 collective exhibitions ( Russia, France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Italy, Greece, Egypt, Spain, Japan, Poland, England, Denmark ) and 12 personal exhibitions ( Russia, Holland, Belgium, Japan, Slovakia )
